Attraction is appears everywhere in this world.

Greetings to my dear brothers and sisters in the precious name of Jesus. 

I think it’s not necessary to introduce the word of attraction. Attraction is appears everywhere in this world. If you order food in restaurant it comes with garnish. All shopping malls are appearing with good interior and beautiful lights.

Why? Because they want to attract the customers. There is a attraction between boys and girls. Some body think its love. But it’s lust. It comes because of the hormones in body. Attractions are two types. One is fatal attraction and another one is divine attraction.

Fatal attraction  :-  Fatal means which is causing and leading to death.

In the Garden of Eden there was a tree of knowledge (Gen 2:17). When eve saw that tree it was good and pleasant to her eyes (Gen 3:6). So they ate those fruits and fall in to death. Eyes are dangerous they may lead in to sin so watch them carefully.

We know about Samson he saw a woman in Timnath of daughters of Philistines and he want to marry   her (Judges 14:1). So many young people are doing like this. Samson was not happy with her. So don’t deceive and hurry to make a decision about your marriage. He saw a harlot in Gaza and went in unto her (Judges16:1). Afterward he loved a woman her name was Delilah (Judges 16:4). She delivered Samson in to hands of his enemies. They took him, and put out his eyes, and bound him with brass fetters and gave a work to grind in the prison house. Samson died because of lust of eye.

David was grate devotee and king. One day he saw Bathsheba from the roof of the king’s house when she washing herself. She was beautiful so David commit with her adultery. God saw David and punished him with so many problems. One man of God said like this “David told everything to God before he does that, but David did only this sin without telling to God”.

Bible says “love not the world, neither thing that are in the world…” (1 John 2:15). In these days young people are attracting by movie stars, smart phones, dirty books, alcohol, drugs, entertainment etc. There is no use with those. Some young people are saying “I fall in love with someone”. That’s not love it is the attraction.

Do you know what is the main reason for suicides and murders? Love and illegal affairs are main reasons in majority cases. So beware of this attraction. It destroys you.

Divine attraction:- It’s so important attraction. Jesus said “And if i be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men un to me”   (John 12:32). We know Elisha was plowing the land with the yoke of oxen. Just Elijah passed by him and cast his mantle upon Elisha. Elisha left everything and fallowed Elijah (1 kings 19:19,20)

what happened to Elisha to fallow Elijah. It’s the divine attraction. Elisha was attracted to God because of anointing upon prophet of Elijah. After Elijah Elijah did good ministry.

We know about Moses one day he came to the mountain of Horeb to keep the flock of his father in law. He saw a bush burned with fire but the bush was not consumed. Moses surprised because of that strange of sight. He had gone over to look he heard the Lord’s voice. That’s divine attraction changed Moses to become a great leader. (Exodus 3:1-5).

Do you know our Lord’s words are so sweet and he is lovely (song 5:16). His love is more than wine (song 1:4). Did you taste that love? Bible says “O taste and see the lord is good…” (psalm 34:8). Fullness of joy in God’s presence. Are you attracting with his love? Are you delighted in law of Lord? Ruth was attracted to God of Naomi. She accepted him as her God and blessed.

Sadhu sundhar singh who belonged to very rich Sikh family he was attracted by God’s love. He left his religion, money everything and he became a disciple of Christ. His relatives try to change his mind with money and young girl but he didn’t change his mind. He suffered for Christ. That is attraction of God. May God attracts you to him.  Amen.
